We loooove Crawfish!

Crawfish, Crawdads, Mud Bugs. Call them what you will! But do you love these beady-eyed Cajun crustaceans as much as we do? Come March, we can't wait to get our hands on them!


They’re a delicious meat in and of themselves, as well as the perfect companion to an ice cold beer, but even more than being a favorite food, crawfish represent a beloved experience often lost by many in the rush of our hectic schedules. Crawfish bring us together and give us an excuse to go outdoors, gather around newspaper-covered picnic tables and make a complete mess of ourselves.

Pounds of spices are poured into the pot with potatoes and corn, and the boil is complete! We're messy, and our lips are burning, but hey, that's what the cold beer is for!

Gender Reveal Party

You may have heard about gender reveal parties. They are becoming quite popular, and we think they are quite special. Rather than finding out the sex of a baby at the ultrasound, some are choosing to reveal the sex of their little ones at home, surrounded by friends and family.

Gender Reveal Ideas

These ideas work if you have the ultrasound tech write down the sex of the baby and seal it inside an envelope.

-Have a cake or cake balls made. When you cut or bite in, the color of the cake or icing reveals pink or blue.

-Have cupcakes made with a dollop of frosting inside. Your guests can all bite in at the same time and find out together!

-Go to a baby clothing store that gift wraps) and pick out one boy outfit and one girl outfit. Leave the store while the person at the checkout rings up the appropriate outfit and wraps it. Then you open it at the party! (Just don’t look at the receipt!)
